Abby is a resident artist at Tattoo Gloriosum. Her tattoo style is contemporary with emphasis on linework. Her work is inspired by nature and all the critters of the earth! Katelynn @usti_waya
Katelynn can find herself in the creative flow in many different mediums - in fact, she enjoys immersing herself in new and exciting forms of expressing consistently. Always questioning the true confines of art, Katelynn most enjoys creating work that is of service to the collective - her favorite way being through offering handpoke tattoo ceremony.
Her current body of work shows the influence of spiritualism, animism, cosmology, admiration of the natural world, and body ornamentation as a means of self expression—all themes practiced freely by her ancestors before colonization and religious extremism forced a different way of life. Katelynn is among many other artists that are passionate about revitalizing ancient traditional forms of expression that can help us reconnect with the wisdom our ancestors nurtured & cherished. Katelynn is deeply guided by her connection to her ancestors - belonging to the Eastern Band Cherokee & Lumbee Nations on her mother’s side along with her Scandinavian & Celtic roots from her father’s side. Above all, remaining connected to her lineage has been essential in recognizing the impact and purpose in all that we create and do.
Each of her tattoo ceremonies begin with the burning of an herbal bundle. Chosen from an array of herbs like mugwort, sweetgrass, sage or cedar dependent on the individual being tattooed. The bundle is offered as a prayer through the ascension of the smoke and intention of each tattoo. Each herb carries its own spirit medicine, whether it is to clear negative energy, call in protection, or strengthen communication to other realms.
Katelynn believes that tattoos are living, enchanted symbols that channel specific energy into the body. She loves to help clients bring a vision or symbol to life that has been speaking to them. Each piece is designed specifically for its wearer and is not to be tattooed again. The ritual of tattooing is a sacred one of honoring your spirit, body, and the expressive energy carried within you and is a ritual of transformation and renewal.

Jenna is a resident artist at Tattoo Gloriosum. She has many inspirations such as her favorite films, religious iconography, nature, and her travels. When she’s not tattooing, Jenna is studying elementary education at IU, and going to every concert she can! Her number one goal as an artist (besides giving you artwork you love!) is to make sure her clients feel completely comfortable and have a great tattoo experience! JANELLE @janellepatterson
Janelle’s tattoo style is derived from East Asian art including woodblock prints and ink paintings as well as figures and other cool things. Outside of tattooing, she is perusing her degree in the painting BFA program at Indiana University. CLEMENTINE @clempokes
Clementine’s style consists of graphic, dot work designs and she draws inspiration from pop culture, horror films, and queer midwest life. Outside of tattooing, she studies studio art and anthropology at Indiana University and cohosts a radio show on WIUX. She’s also a linguistics nerd, an antique collector, and an Aries!
